Hudson Valley Concert Posters shares original concert artwork by the late Rosalie Love Weeden Beinstein (1952-2002).

Rosalie was a fine and graphic artist who designed concert posters and calendars primarily between 1975 and 1985.

These posters were for Hudson Valley clubs and concert halls including The Chance, Mid-Hudson Civic Center (Poughkeepsie, NY), Joyous Lake (Woodstock, NY) and others.

From 1977 to 1981 Rosalie was employed by 'Rising Signs', a promotion company that produced concert posters throughout the Hudson Valley. The 'Rising Signs' logo appears on the bottom of select posters.

From 1981 to 1984 she was an employee of The Chance where she designed and managed advertising and promotional graphics. These posters pre-date computer aided design and feature hand done lettering and paste up techniques.

Rosalie signed her work as Rosalie Weeden, R.Weeden, RW and RLW until 1983 when she married Stan Beinstein.

Rosalie also designed logo and graphics for local radio station WPDH, menus for Noah’s Ark, Adam’s Station and other restaurants popular in that era.

Original posters and calendars will be available here in addition to select reproductions.

Posters and calendars that were not designed by Rosalie will also be available and will be noted as such.

We hope these posters and calendars bring back musical memories.

For those too young to have been there, we hope you get a glimpse of how many artists came through our beautiful Hudson Valley.

Thanks for visiting!
